My name is Steve Mickley. I am a woodworker; a cabinetmaker (in the traditional sense of the word) and woodturner. My interest in wood and woodworking began over 50-years ago with a degree in forestry. During my career I have been involved with both the buying and selling of lumber, teaching woodworking and woodturning, hosting a popular woodworking magazines’ Finishing & Refinishing Forum and authoring articles on various woodworking topics.
